I don’t think there was ever any doubt as to whether we would receive a re-paint of Downbeat (Jazz) as Stepper, or Ricochet as he is seemingly becoming more known as. It was/is a fantastic mold and what figure doesn’t look good in black ?
Machine Robo is a Japanese transforming robot toy line first released in 1982 by Popy, a division of Bandai, then later by Bandai proper. However, most of us here present will be more familiar with the aforementioned “Go-Bots”.

I’ve got better things to do tonight than review …. actually, that’s a lie. The truth is I have “other” things to do which are annoyingly getting in the way of doing many reviews that I’m wanting to do. It pains me to have to rush through like this but if I don’t then I’m not sure when I’ll get around to doing them.

I always figured it would be a question of “when” and not “if” with regard to Takara providing us with a representation of Sideswipe’s vain & arrogant twin. However I did make an assumption that it would have been long before now, I thought they would have kept up the momentum up on the Autobot cars, for the main core characters anyway. But we were not left empty handed with a gap on the shelf …
